Levitate Data is a Custom AI-enabled Software and Product Development company that leverages its decades of combined experience working in Machine Learning and Software Engineering, Data Science and MLOps to help people turn their vision into scalable businesses, supercharged by AI and Machine Learning.

Our Story

We started out as a group of engineers who came across some interesting people with interesting product ideas but also “interesting” budgets. However, we liked the ideas so much that we started working on them on our own time and managed to deliver them as well. Some of us loved the experience of building and shipping products out of nothing and wanted to continue doing it. So we did. We started working with clients referred to us by previous clients, building embedded teams for them, some of whom we still manage to this day.

Over the years, clients kept referring us to other clients and we kept growing until finally, we took the big step of turning this into a proper business and working on it full time. Since then, we’ve added more engineers, product guys, data guys and machine learning experts, all of whom have experience in delivering great software and products. We’ve continued to grow our AI-enabled custom software development services and are now also building our own products; like ‘Thalamus’, a multi-tenant enterprise grade RAG-as-a-Service (RaaS) platform providing scalable document ingestion, retrieval, and LLM orchestration. At its core, Levitate is still a group of engineers (with one business guy but even he studied engineering at school) who got addicted to the idea of building ideas and solving problems.

Mission

There are some undeniable truths about AI. It is intimidating for a lot of people; It’s exciting once you understand how to make it work for you; and It is inevitable. We want to make it less intimidating by filling in the knowledge gaps, explaining in simple terms how it can be adopted for specific use cases and the value it can deliver, and then help people adopt it the right way at the right time.
